i got a prematch in philly.can anyone explain the steps needed to take from applying for state licence till getting the visa.so that i can do the things in time.do we need to get state licence first to start appying for H1b
any input is appreciated

yes you do need to file for license before any H1 processing is done.
The PC (Joy) will give you the papers needed to fill in for license.

thanks moozy.
i actually wanted to know that can we start the paper work for H1b visa with the lawyer and the hospital before getting state licence .and how much time does it usually take for the licence to be issued if everything goes smoothly.
just want to know the things in timeline fashion.thanks for the response

well.. actually u need ur license before u even file anything for H1B
so as soon as u fill in paper work for license.. u should contact Joy in 3-4 weeks.. ur license should be done by then... and it comes to ur PC (not you).. once that is done.. she will give you the tele number of lawyers who u will have to call and fill in the paperwork they send.. with premium processing it takes10-12 days from the date of filing (which is different from the day they rcvd ur documents)....
Overall it is a smooth process.. i got mine within 2 weeks..I see that u are from Pakistan also.. it may be the same for you if you have had ur FBI clearance for the visit visa.. I believe one has to be in their country of residence when applying.. btw.. are you Uk trained?
Its a great program.. very good and friendly residents and our PC is great.. you will realize it more when u are in pennsy.
