These are mistakes I found in the First Aid for Usmle Step 1 2003 : p90 picture of Recurrent laryngeal nerve is completely wrong.Left side of the body is on the right half of the picture and right side of the body is on the left half of the picture. p 373 In the table located at the bottom of the page it says that testosteron fuses epiphyseal plates. That is not correct anymore.Because now we now that estrogen does that. Put mistakes you found in this or other books here.

It used to be argued that testosteron causes the epiphyses to fuse to the long bones , thus eventually stopping growth , but it now appears that epiphysial closure is due to estrogen. Check new edition of Ganong's Review of Medical Physiology ( 20 edition chapter 23 p416) Usmle questions are always up-to-date so our knowlege should also be .

Hi, I don't agree with you about the Picture in page 90 of First Aid. It is shown as a posterior view. Sounds logical to me !!!!
