i m writing this new journal....
coz i want myself updated....
i l study seriously these 2 weeks.....hav posrpone my exam a lottt....cant do more..
plz encourage me all....
my preparation till now....
done with one good read....
2nd read very haphazard...+did kaplan qbank(50%)
now i want a full quick read of all my subjects +qbank in a week and then i l give nbme
havnt done UW 
ok now i l start with micro....bacteria( in 2 hours..)

i dnt knw where my prep wil go...
did micro....but only 150 ques...not all
then did bchem half...
now i m sick of the ques i cant solve...
so i m giving a good read of patho goljan...aim 3 days....till thurs...
with kaplan q bank

i m done with cell injury, inflammation,immunopathology,fluids.....and CNS...doing renal...done half GIT...
plus did ques of general path+CNS
plus revised slides 4rm webpath of the above...
still a lot to do....

i dont know if im the right one to advice on this to you but dear please do UW thoroughly with all concepts cuz i hv read a lot of exam posts where they say that UW is a must and not just do it for the heck of it but if you understand all concepts then bout 40-50% q's is on the same concept almost . But again if you have all the concepts clear then no need i guess. BUT please do FA a lot during last few days cuz again as read by most of the posts here that FA in last few days is must .

thanks cute kity....by ur advice i hav started doing UW...n it is like a lott different 4rm kaplan...
i m dng path ques....CNS...n their way of giving u ques is very basic yet tough...
n kaplan is like mugging up all and ques are a littl direct..

I think that's good. I've heard of people getting much less on UW and doing well at this stage - a few days before exam. Hang in there & best of luck with the studying

i havnt actually done UW....took it just now....hav my exam in 10days
done with kaplan qbank 50% only...
so a little tensed....
on the top of this my second read was very haphazard....
n after tht i wasted all my time to find a study partner on this forum...
so got a lot time wasted....
n now
but i m trying hard to catch up....so now GOD wil help me n people on this forum...

now wil b doing theory part....wil do ques later on....
starting with CNS...then skin...then musculoskeletal....

cutekity and sos is right. angel, if you are getting 68 to 70% in first time uw, you are in very good position, not like me, did you take your nbme? how was it?
yes, dont forget FA in last days, it was life saving for me.
about pathology, anemia questions, those without slide i could answer, but there were few hematology slides ,
hypo and hyper cortisolism, LH, pronlonged prothombine time , where, diabetes , which hormone help release insulin, or IGF-1,
pericarditis, MI, burkitts lymphoma, AML, crest syndrome, prostacycline(inhibit platelet aggregation)
if you focus on even FA, you will get many questions right, also glomerulonephritis question in adult and child,
if you have any other question, let me know. you are on right path, dont worry, you will get a great score! first thing, believe that, and just keep reveiwing. GL.
