I have been offered a pre-match position for IM residency in a for-profit organization hospital. I am already on H1B visa (from non-profit university position) and so it requires only a transfer of my current H1B to the new organization. My question is whether the H1B visa for for-profit organization come under the 65,000 cap? Will already having a H1B visa change the scenario? Thanks.
