Hi everyone. I'm currently doing my 5th year of medical school in the uk (we do 6 years in total) and I would like to do my residency in America. I have a few questions that you might be able to help with: 1. How many steps of USMLE do I have to do before I can start the residency? 2. How long does it take to complete these steps? Any advices, help would be greatly appreciated Thanks in advance

Step 1, 2ck, 2cs and step 3. My guess is that one can take all steps in 8-12 months. You don't need step 3 before starting residency unless you need a H1 visa.
