Hey guys, I hope everyone's Interview season went well( or is going well)
I got a call from Duke's, and they wanted me to come for a second visit in the first week of February. Now, to my understanding, Pre Match can't be offered after Jan 31st( the programs have to specify their quota to ERAS by this deadline). I am not 100% sure whether this is true.
If this is true, then would the program have me visit them...?
Does anyone have a similar situation? Or if any one can help with this....All help and suggestions would be appreciated!!

i dont think they are going to offer a prematch. as u said they can do that safely before Jan 30th (if they do that, please let me know).

I could be wrong, but my understanding is that all they are doing right now is deciding how many positions that are going to the match with. So they could still technically offer a prematch. Then they have to submit their ROL, and at THAT point, I suppose it would be too late to offer prematches (but you never know). I wouldn't read too much into it. Go to the interview and shine as if your life depended on it.

Hypercube is right, they submit the quota on the last day of January, so there are no prematch offers after that date, Duke is a very good program, i don't think they offer prematches, that will reflect bad on their prestige since other programs would know that they did it by looking at their quota numbers.
they seem genuinely interested in you, so go there and shine as chiqui said, hopefully you will end up matching there,
