There are few formulas in FA patho sections. does any one know about any questions
or HOW these formulas can apply on the questions.
Metabolic acidosis Winter's formula = 1.5 (HCO 3) + 8 + - 2 (its difficult to write the exact formula because of typing restrictions]
Metabolic alkalosis PCO2 increase 0.7 mmhg for every inc 1 mEq/l HCO 3
SAME ARE FOR RESP ACIDOSIS AND ALKALOSIS.
