Thank you guys for your support and good wishes !
Now that CK is over , I am trying to repeat Step 1 in time for the next match . That's about 6 months max .
I'm trying to do all the lectures in 3 months and then all the Qbanks in another 3 .
Let's hope it works !
Now that I showed myself I can do it , I am in much better spirits for the next one !
Good luck to everyone in whatever you have to do next !

hi dara, goood job and congratulations.
i wonna ask you , i only have kaplan live lectures in mP3 format (audio) ..... does it worse it to buy videos .... or audio is ok too

If you can afford the videos , I would go for the videos because sometimes they make drawings , tables etc . If you can't , I suppose audio is way better than nothing !

hey dara, thanks with your advice on taking the step 2 after failing my step1. i was wondering how much it cost you for the NBME exams and what is that forum 1 and 2 thing?i'm only familiar with the UW and not the NBME.thanks in advance! and Goodluck with your step1.oh by the way, i read your post regarding the CS and observership.will it be okay if you post how did you prepare for the CS and where did you do your observership.thanks again.

NBME is the name of some official simulations you can take to see how you will score in your exam . They are called self assessments . You can find them on www.nbme.org and they cost 45 $ each . There are 3 different simulations for CK , and 4 simulations for Step 1 .
They are extremely accurate and I recommend them with all my heart . When I first took Step 1 I did not know about them either . But then again , I did not know about Kaplan or Usmle World either .... no wonder I failed !

hi dara.. congrats for d gr8 score.. an inspiring story really!!! [ ]... i jus now finished my final yr exams.. 've read d kaplan notes twice .. med thrice mayb.. but 'd left them 3 months back.. 2 months ago i ws scoring 63-66% in UW... 'm i gud enuf?? to write d exam in 3-4 weeks?? 'm VERY scared.. i open my books n evrythin's alien... 'm DEAD scared... step 1 ws better... i cant gather enuf courage to pick up d notes.. HELP!!!

First - take a very deep relaxing breath !
Second - if you can , take NBME form 1 or 2 to see how you would score
Third - every day from now until the exam do questions . As many and as timed random as you can .
Anxiety will get in your way , so if you can get rid of it .
