<> Hello! I took exam yesterday, March 30. I agree with Madeleine. I just wanted to add -- questions are sometimes confusing (especially about statistics ) but most of questions have common sense and you'll have anough time to think .I had anough time even to check marked questions (never do that!!! because I'm pretty sure that I switched from right answer to wrong).I think I had many from immunology (interleukins, hypersensitivity reactions, immunoassays ) , biochemistry and behavioral science (errors I and II, doctor -- patient relationship mostly), couple of virology questions and of course patho (very good sourse -- Goljan -- much better than Kaplan's one), pharm , a lot of questions and photos from neuroscience. Very few questions from phisiology (about 3 I guess). So about good distribution of subjects I am not sure. That actually what I had. Take your own earplugs with you (I think it should be permitted) -- their earphones don't help -- there is noise from moving people back and force. Try think about how smart doctor you can be and what happen if you'll pass exam -- it helped me and kept my brain relatively sharp . Have good short review notes especially last week (I was very satisfied with Goljan's ones -- it is absolutely necessary to know most commons) and practice questions (I used tutorial mode most of the time). On my opinion the closest (difficulty and content ) questions are Q-bank , BSS (I think I had almost identical question from it) and Pre-Test. Environment is comfortable and peaceful, personal is very polite and encouraging (Chicago IL, 20 Clark str.). So everything will be o'kay. Let's hope. [-o<

Hey Natalie, Congrats on finishing! I was just wondering which Goljan notes you were talking about (the HY 36 pages, 100 pages, etc) and what else you might recommend doing the week before the exam! I'm taking it very soon, and definitely hoping the Goljan audio and notes are as helpful as I hope they are! Also, what would you recommend to study Immuno? Is Kaplan pretty good? Thanks for your help, and congrats again!

Hello, juicyfresh! Thank you . I was talking about 36 + 44 pages of Goljan's notes. Immunology (High Yield series -- those small thin books) is very good I think it could be even better than Kaplan's one in some topics. Also it good to repeat PCR, ELISA, Western blot , South and Southwestern blot, etc .: questions were from immunology ,virology and biochemistry. It is very good to know what main interleukins do. Week before the exam I spent reviewing material from First Aid, notes and doing a lot of questions. Good luck to you and don't worry very much about exam itself because bigger challenge is waiting for results .
