sorry if this sounds dumb.To stimulate phoshofructokinse and phosphorylase activity for anaerobic glycolysis we need decreased citrate and increased AMP, so where does the AMP come from,i understood the citrate part but not AMP, some body plz explain

its an unfinshed or broken down product of ATP. see the whole point of glycolysis is to make energy from sugar. if ATP is decreased then there will be increase amount of ADP and AMP that can stimulate the cycle to make ATP. does that makes sense to you and no its not a dumb question its just a I am curious question. its not so high yield so dont worry about where it comes from just know for what reaction or cycle it is an allosteric activator/ inhibitor.
