what should be one's average score on usmle world before giving the exam to ensure you will pass? what about a high score? what does an average of 55 mean?

i don't think there is a clear correlation....what people say is that Kaplan does have some kind of "prediction"....if you have 70% you will pass (in Kaplan q-bank)
but again, no straight cut prediction (not in my case for sure)

In my case, it was uw right percentage + 30 = two digit score for both step 1 and 2 CK.

For me:

step 1 = 55% correct real test = 84 (207)

step 2 = 66% correct real test = 99 (257)

So it was around 30 more than uw.

But the best predictor is NBME, in my opinion.
