hey, MD< its gr8 that u reached 64% in mixed, timed...... i can just dream about it
today i was out until now, lets see hw much i would be able to do today..but really facing hard time around

now again dropped to 55 % in this blok....
and had to omit last 4 qs due to lack of time !!!! if this is happening at home, i wonder what will happen in test !! some qs are just never-ending !!
dont know its helping or not ..without reading the explan i am just doing the bloks....bt whatever, will read later!!

Hey hir, i didnt write coz, i ws just doing UW and rest of the time was involved in some planning (for what?? continue reading.. )..as for now i ws doing only qs..still a lot left. but i read neurology in IM in the meantime.
Let me share a very very special news of my life with you all , my friends.........
I am getting married in May end.... 
I went with my parents for my first shopping today !! I wasnt home the whole day, as i had to go out atleast one day to buy my wedding saree .......everything else is left to be done, and my parents will do those. After my exam, i will do the rest of shopping.. ( cant do anything else now with step 2 so close ).
Tomorrow i will have to attend the wedding of a very good friend of mine from medical college, and there is another on 27th. cant avoid them..so 2 more days gone !!
only 15 days left....hope i can manage everything !!

Yes..that day when i gave the news here, i bought my wedding dress....its a red traditional benarasi saree..

Suure.......that wud be great fun to see friends from all over the world ....hey, please come to India........and visit the "City of Joy"....
and if not possible, physically (as all are busy with exmas ),lets arrange for a virtual get together here.........
today evening my dad had a tough time in writing the content of the card, as we were pouring in with our own ideas !! now finally he made one final copy, after piles of drafts!!
hey paheli, though i read ur post yesterday itself, i didnt reply, as i went back to study after being scolded by you. but now i felt like sharing this moment. when dad ws calling me to see the content once, i was shouting that i dont hv time etc. .. bt then felt so sad. i remembered of those moments when i waste precious time here and there. so i went and sat beside my parents for sometime.
i am their only daughter, and cant resist myself when i think, who wud look after them when i wud go to US.. inspite of being a doctor, i wont be here to take care of them, atleast for few years !! i have sinking feeling when i think about it!!
I pray to God, so that i get into residency soon, start earning, and be able to visit them whenever i wish !!

I can feel what you mean really, but also getting married may get you some what away from your parents [ but ofcourse you didn't think of thaat ],
but put in your mind that lot of peeople are living steps away from their parents and they don't visit them much and don't care about them, and others are living overseas and just as if they're living in the next room...., so it all depends on you , and when you travel and work and get money you can help them with it when they need it and ...., so do your best and be sure no one will be happy with your success more than them, and what do you want more than making them happy,

well, yesterday i didnt do a single qs....during step 1..i devoted all my time to uw and then didnt get the time for a proper revision. which cost me a lot !! now, though a lot of qs are left, i am now trying to revise..doing pulmonology now..then i will do the last 3 chaps ( first time ) of IM.and then will try to do some qs.
only 2 more wks..
Be scared Mydream !!!!

Hey, MD, think of this from your parents side. They are not sitting right now thinking that you will be gone and feeling bad and sad etc [though it will be at the back of their minds] But, the predominant feeling for them is that you're setting off on your own, with someone who will be good to you, good for you. All parents care immensely for their kids, but in my mind, Indian parents put more emphasis on daughter's wedding [no offence to anyone] I mean, it's the one BIG EVENT of their lives, hai na? So, share their joy, add to it, and have a great time. As someone else said above, many people don't get to stay this long with their parents, so feel lucky about it. I'm also the only daughter for my parents, and I left home to study when I was 15. I just came back home about 2 years ago.
nany, sure come with your fiance and everything. And see if he has any single buddies in the army who wanna come along. I bet there are a couple of us single here!!
Hey, guys, everyone, YOUR ATTENTION HERE PLEASE!! A dear friend of ours is getting married, and none of us has the decency to tease here??? How can we let this happen? This is a special period of her life, and we have to make it memorable. Come on people, we have to make her blush, at least!!
