I know you're passing tough circumstances these days but it will all go away dear , ofcourse every minute passes is a valuable time, but as you said you must stop worry as you can't change the situation and try to get the most benifit from these tough circumstances....

oh , just read about your wrist, I thought it was over ... get well soon , Im sure you dont need to be told that but I cant help to , plz take the necessary cautions for it not to effect you on your D day k ?

Soo sweet......we all do that with our dearest moms.....you r a great Mom Feyza....i will remember these days in forum all my life ..where i met so many power moms .. specially, then, when i will be in your shoes....
Thanks for the good wishes..i am nt doing anything for it....nt applying crape bandage anymore..i hate it.....bt it bothers me when i want to lift something or do something whch puts pressure on the wrist. hope it goes away someday !!

Dear friends, with all your prayers, my wrist is much better now..and the pain has lessened ..hope it will completely resolve soon.
I have done 4 blocks in last few days, first 3 was 55 % and now its 64 %. but i wont look at the percentage now..as it doenst mean anything. since i w sdoing in tutor mode, i ws taking too long time to finish. and i already suffered due to time management in step 1 and missed few qs.
so from now on, i will be doing in timed mode....that wil put the pressure.
i tried to listen to nephro lectures..thanks nany for the advice..have listened 2 files..bt though he explains nicely, i ws finiding it boring..and ws feeling sleepy....and cud not resist to go to sleep right after that in the afternoon..and slept for 3 hrs..
time is too short....i have to be focussed !! this time i will have to do Q bk.
Ok, will make a schedule again..otherwise i am reading without any target. now let me read the explanations of this block.

hi MD, u r doing good with UW, keep it up, i have also subscribed UW but was not able to do it properly but from today onwards, i m not going anywhere out n just gonna do full time study, nothing else........hope , i could do better in this period..
nways, tell me, hw r u doing uw? subjectwise or mixed??

yesterday wsnt home the whole day.......things are getting pending. ...didnt do good in last few blocks..........lott to do.........

Thank you for asking dear simi....with all the good wishes, my wrist is much better now, though the swelling is still there and pains if i lift an object or use the mouse for long....this ganglion cyst is a long-term headache it seems....
hows ur prep going ??
hey paheli, i am doing UW....bt it is taking too long to do the xplnations as it did in step 1....i thought that i wud manage to do qs and start revising and doing few portions of kaplan IM and paed (psychiatry is untouched still ).......bt still struggling to be able to do that..
now have only a month left !! under same pressure as step 1........bt i pray to God so that i can study hard and complete my task.

Hey, don't worry about Psych, it's nearly just the same as Beh Sc in Step 1. I don't think there's ANY additional stuff. Shouldn't take you too long.

BTW, i do have any book for review..like FA or crush.........planning to do only kaplan......no time to buy new one or to go thru it..........i hope that wud be ok, what do you suggest friends ??

Hey, I was asking about NBME Forms for CK [there are only 3]. Do you have them?
If you only have enough time to finish your main prep sources, like KLN and UW, don't spend time or money looking for any of the review books. Evidently none of the ones available [FA, Crush, Secrets] are the Gold Standard the way FA was for Step 1. So, yeah, it's nice to have a review book, but it's not like you'll be missing the major chunk of your prep or anything. So, don't worry.

There are some links on my journal, that veroni shared. See if you have better luck with Megaupload or Sendspace. I've tried both, no luck so far. Shall keep trying. Good luck.

Hey .. the test was very funny.... ....i passed and will get the license after 25 days..
i slept after returning in the aftrnoon and started with UW only at 7.30..
then a friend's parents came to invite us for her wedding....so, some time gone there too....anyways, did only a blok of obg now..have to read the explanations.
but dont know whther it ws due a poor concn at the moment or not..this blok ws horrible..i have finished qs of OBg bt left 14 for last. yesterday i got 70% in 2 bloks. but now it was 57% ......the qs seems all similar....bt there are many qs in this blok whch i did not know..hv to read well....those must be cake walk for you..
Ok, i too will start paeds after this, few chaps in kaplan are stillll left....time is running by........!!

how are you? actually i observed the same thing myself... sometimes when we are physically tired or not able to concentrate otherwise scores go down drastically..so don't be upset about it...
thanks for visiting my journal and the wishes....i really need a lot of them...
its beyond me now.. only prayers can help me .... i just am too anxious about the score.... one moment i feel i've done well and the very next moment i find myself wondering if i am going to pass... maybe you will understand how i feel..... oh god ,please help me.

Hey hir, what do i say ?? i started doing miixed, timed....and the first blok i scored 47 !! and next 2 bloks 57 and now 64....bt in t his blok, some qs were correct just by chance..i was not sure....bt the problem is i am not touching books....only doing UW....maybe thats why its not working.........huge part is left..i guess i am gonna complete the qs and then read the explan.
But having probs with time....its taking full stipulated time to complete each blok....and now i cudnt complete last 2 qs in the previous blok.
how to manage time , any suggestions friends??
Can anybody tell me .. whthr the percentage in UW will affect very much ?? i mean till now, its very low..arnd 58%....and 25 days left....
How to do my best in these few days ??
