Hey hir..i am happy for u that u did it.... cudnt post earlier as net ws not working !!
i cudnt finish the target yesterday..as i had been reading too slowly !! thr is no excuse of nt completing 50 pgs while reading full time. but i really hope and pray that i do get that speed soon !!
i am trying to finish yestrdays pending plus today's target.
but one thing..i am somehow nt liking the surgery notes in kaplan....is it sufficient ???? do we have to read from any other sources ?? we read much more in college .. isnt it ??
any suggestions, seniors ?? i do nt hv the vdo lects..so not doing them .... is it reqd ??
any inputs will be appreciated

Hey dear anuba....thank u so much for the moral support....i used to read ur journal in stp1 and also here....i know u face soo many difficulties around but its inspiring to see u keep going !! thanks for being there for me.

Hey mydream.....kaplan notes for surgery is very suffecient......, you may even skip to the vignettes section directly and you will not miss a lot......,
and actually Surgery DVDs is a waste of time, he's doing nothing but reading the vignettes section.....,
don't worry and keep going on, and when solving questions you'll add the additional required information and done

i am lagging..but am trying to do as we planned....doing the vignettes at present....though the surg speclties chap is yet to be done.

hi, MD........i m here only........i was upset as i could read only 10 pages yesterday, and today is our last day.....so i have to read a lot in order to reach the target. ITS very easy to make a plan but really very tough to follow it.........ya, u r right....the first section was boring but vignettes r quite interesting.........i m also not watching d videos.........
...so, hw did it go with you????????....have to go....so much work to do today......... ...........all d best!!!!!!!!!!

Heyy hir..i completely understand ur state of mind..its happening with me too....and i am having since the very first day !! but dont lose heart dear....we WILL DO it !! what r u reading currently ??
i left the last chap and portions of ortho ..and started with the vigntts.....will try to do today as much as possible.
it might be tough ..but lets try to follow our plan....and dont be upset....we will do it together !!
i also hv to go back ....wasted a lot of time in net..

Hey hir....how r u feeling now ?? i hope u have finished surg yesterday was a total waste for me......hardly read 10 pgs......and the cause is the same....my emotions took control and i was upset !! just donno what to do with myself !!
today (sat) is the last day for me for surg....we were supposed to do the qs on the 5th day.....but since i wasted so much.....now i will try to finish it first.
today eve i will take mom to dentist.....she is suffering from a long time now....hope it goes well. and on monday....we have Saraswati Puja....on that day i do not study.
so basically.....my time is getting very short. i think we can start OBG now....that is from ur Sat and mine Sunday...and try to finish it within 3 days.
let me know ur opinion.....take care..........

hi MD, sure we can start with obg.....but i have to read last 40 pages of surgery yet n i have guests on weekend, so mostly i would be able to start obg from monday....u can start from sundayif u wish............so all d best for a new start....i ll be back on monday......

hehe , we have a saying in Turkey : If I had a comb , I would use it for my own messed up hair first  so , namely senior but maybe some advices only after I pass

we really need to remember this saying in our daily life..as we tend to pick faults of others..rather than setting ourselves right first !! and that creates unpleasant circumstances !!

I have finished Surgery.... but as i had planned ..cudnt start with OBG ystrday.
today we had Saraswati Puja at our home.. i dont study on this day since my childhood.. so today is off :P
I did smthing today....that is i have registered for step2 CK today in the morn I pray to God so that i do get a date in early May !!
So, from tomorrow..i will start OBG.Tues..wed and thurs....hv to do this time !! and qs on friday.
now i need to modify my plan..coz it will be 15th this fri....and am having to pay for wasting time and slow reading !!
well....so..now by 25th Feb..i MUST finish.so will hv 10 days for IM ,peds, psychiatry !!

but some things keep coming up...like guests for u....i hv to attend smthing tomorrow..so need to go out for a while.......still we have to do it..

Yup Feyza..
this week ws a waste for me..i lost my focus.. and ended up wasting time. cud not pull myself up. my plan for obg ws on hold.
results of AIPG and state exam were out this wk..few close frnds did not get any rank..and they r upset.....life is soo uncertain..
did only a few pages..starting obg from today again. i took the CK date.. 7th May....Hope i achieve my target !!

Do u guys think it's really neccessary to watch cardio DVD? mine cardio one not working
