Thanks cutekity and shwe..wish u best of luck too !! dear shwe..i didnt do RR path..HY 100 pgs etc by Goljan. i read patho from BRS..as i had seen from many posts that BRS and Goljan audio is a good option. but yes..even without reading myself..i guess RR wud be the best source along with his audios. i also didnt do kaplan qbank....if one has adequate time..it can be done for practise...bt UW is most helpful, i think. i did only UW. GL to u..

Well, I sat for my exam 18 March, and I would like to share my experience with you; Thanks to GOD I did well , Hope the results be fine too. My first advice try to SLEEP WELL the day before the exam as much as you can. I slept only 1 hr !!!! , It was really hard and tough for me. The exam is not that difficult as I was thinking, I found it easier, so don't worry at all . 90% of the questions are asking about the topics well covered by the first Aid, ( First Aid is really book # 1 for step1) Around 75% of questions were pathology and pharma, 10% micro, 10% bio and cell biology and the rest subjects not more than 5% (only 2 questions embryology, around 10 questions anatomy, around 5 questions biostatistics, around 10 questions behavioral,...etc ) Most topics asked were neurology, cardiology and hematology. There were always in every block; bl. pict.s, CTs or MRIs, Pathology slides. 50% of questions were direct and straight forward (either you know the knowledge or no) 48% needs thinking, good interpretation of diagrams ,correlation between different informations and good expecting. 2% are Science fictions!!! so don't waste your time and effort with them. Concerning the time, well it wasn't a problem to me , I finished every block 10 minutes early and I revised all the questions I marked. Hope this helps,
