Due to some family reason, I'm planning to go to india, I wanted to know, if I dont match, do I have to be physically present in US for scramble, can I scramble to any program sitting in India. My brother here is willing to make calls and fax the documents here for me, if I dont match. But during scramble do they ask you to meet them in person? I think they do, But I am still not sure?? does anyone know???

You should be here to scramble...the PD will want to either meet or talk to the candidate and the chances of you scrambling while being abroad are very slim....

This Ram3 always have this problem to discourage people .I dont know why??????he has this problem
i failed in CS and pissed me and i got good calls even my result is awaited now and I have very good research experience and I have three yearclinical research likely to get published in united states top journal because some part has already been published by the our senior colleague and we have done partB of it.
I dont know why he is not discouraging??????
