I have heard people talking abt practicing cases with the software. on the CD there are 5 cases. now, does it mean that we take a case from say UW and practice by opening one of the 5 cases on CD, completely ignoring the default case? so, the main idea is to know how to order stuff on different cases... thanks guys and i know its quite a silly question

yes thats what it means. basic idea is that you don't get lost during exam time while ordering an investigation.
