A 50 year old man is admitted secondary to respiratory failure and tachcardia. His T is 38.9 (102 F) ,BP 110/60 and RR 30/min. His echo shows P waves preceding the QRS complex. No two P waves have the same morphology. Which of the following is the most appropriate next step in the management? 1) administration of digitalis. 2) administration of warfarin 3) Electrical cardioversion 4) Mechanical ventilation 5) Placement of a defibrillator.

recurrent premature atrial contraction....... causes, anxiety CHF HYPOXIA electrolyte abnormility. management......treat underlying cause.....hypoxia secondary to resp failure......MECHANICAL VENTILATION.
