What kind of license one needs to start residency in Newyork? How and where to apply for it...what documents are needed?
Also applying for step 3, where it asks that i need to apply for license first....How to sort this out.

The Program Coordinator of your program will answer your questions. I ask a person about this question and she answers that the contract will include information and instruct you what to do so you are eligible to work in NY.
If apply for step 3, select CT, then you can sit for the exam everywhere you like. Search step 3 experience!
