I interviewed in a program last friday and got a call from prog coordinator that the faculty has decided to offer me a prematch. I told her that i am happy to accept it. I recieved a offer letter on tuesday signed by PD and i was supposed to send it back after signing it with a copy of withdrawl from match, which i did. I have cancelled the rest of my interviews. I wanted to know that when do they ask you sign the contract and what documents do u ask the program to start the processing of H1 visa.

COngratulations!! The main question would be, do they have a lawyer to do that? or should you get your own lawyer... a good idea would be to contact a resident and ask about the process if it is not processed by the program. if it is then they would contact you to do it....anyways you have more than enough time to do it....don't worry tooooo much...enjoy!! again congrats!!
