None so far i think cos that audio and video thingy was for the Step 2 people and for Step 1 they might intorduce it as experimental after the summer of 08'. So it would be helpful if you guys can go through the ECFMG website or the USMLE web site and get the updated info. This is according to the last time i checked which was last year September.

I actually did check the sample test material given on the USMLE website for Step 1 and it had a total of 4 blocks, the last one being the one with audio / video questions. The questions did not seem to be overly hard, however I do feel that they are more time consuming given the fact that you have to take time to view the video or listen to the audio and ofcourse also read the question.
The audio / video clips are only 20 -30 second long streams but again that it 20 -30 sec extra per question and every second counts.

questions with media clips will be introduced in this year for step 1 and 3, but for step 2 ck they already introduced it. and they will announce on usmle website atleast two month before the introductions of media clips for step 1 and 3.
"No more than 5 items with associated media clips will appear in a single examination" i read this on usmle website
