yes know the basal ganglia and which structure is affected (e.g. caudate huntington's etc.) tracts know in which disease which tract is affected.
e.g. vit B12 Deficiency (Subacute combined degeneration.) (Spinocerebellar, corticospinal, dorsal columns)
I read both Kaplan Neuro and High yeild Neuro. I found High yeild very good visually. first 2 chapters are just pix. very helpful. but pix can be seen online also. your choice.
