I am planing of writing follow up letters to the top 3 or 4 programs I really like. Is that a good thing to do and do you think its appropriate if I ask, "how would an applicant know if a program is really intersted in the applicant' as in me and the program.

We are not allowed to tell you where you are ranked, we can't say much of anything. Of course, applicants ask all the time. I tell applicants to listen to how I saw what I say.

Is it allright if i send a follow up letter telling them that I am really interested. I wont come off as too desperate will I?
