Why does FA order CBC AND ESR in almost all patients presenting with headache?? I mean apart from temporal arteritis , in what way will that help us rule in or rule out any of the differntial diagnosis???

You order it on the test, because it helps with the other DD. But you'll probably do none of those tests in real life, if the history is typical for migraine or tension headache in a young patient.
