Hey those who had iv at albert einstein, NY, Montefiore..plz tell me how is the program..and what question they are asking..i mean any specific one...Do they offer prematch..

Hi. I'm an IMG, graduated from Bangalore, India in April 2007. Completed USMLE STEP 1 with a score of 88 / 213. Hoping to match into family practice in 2009. I want to take part in obseverships/externships between June and August to give myself a good chance. Do I have to do an observership in FM? What if in those three months I was only able to secure observerships in IM, Pediatrics or Psych? Will the LORs from those observerships not be of use if I were to apply to FM programs?
