Is basic robbins pathology excellent source for pathology ?

"excellent" depends on your own preference....but robbins is an extremely authentic path. textbook. for most, that i know of, it is the bible of pathology, and the basis of building a good solid understanding of path.

Silver i started reading pathology few days back from intermediate robbins find it excellent but is exhaustive meaning lengthy what is ur opinion?

yeah it is lengthy (of course not as long as big robbins)....but i hope you're not planning to use it as your sole book to study from for the steps--that'll take too long. it's a good reference book to use if you're studying for mle. but if you're still in med. school then go ahead and read it cuz now is the time to cement your concepts, and you can afford to take time reading it. intermediate or pocket robbins are good enough i think if you need to cross-check something while you're reading from kaplan or goljan.
