last week was almost lost, well, at least I finished with psy. today started IM, finished GI and also general surgery chapter, which is basically GI. It feels good to have done some productive work after a terrible week.
Hope i dun lose the momentum!

I started with internal med, and well my UW scores suck!!! 50-60% max. and I had to change my exam date to the 8th of march, can't delay it any further ( have a flight to catch) Neuro is my weakest area..and kaplan notes suck for neuro. I'm just doing qns and taking down notes..terribly time consuming!

Guys...there is some good news I want to share..and will appreciate some input..coz I'm a bit scared. I'm going for a month (a 4 weeks elective, I'm still a med student) to what a senior doc called the mecca of medicine in the US: Mayo(Rochester, MN.)
I'm scared!!! I'm an average student, have always been average. and I'll be there, a month in between the best. I want to do good, I have to be good there...(gotta get the lors!)
In my school we have very little clinical exposure...so my qns is..did anyone work, or was there for an elective? Can anyone share their experience? residents..?

after quite a number of days here I am, two days from my exam. Feeling incredibly tired. exhausted want to give everythign up ..and have a vacation!!!
well, no..two days more and it will be over. My average score in uw has been around 58-60. it's not encouraging. but that's it I can't do this for any longer.
God's grace plays a big big role..and on that I'm relying..
Dear God, help me!

well, any way congratulations for that, this is very good for you to have USCE 
and now ust 2 days left for your exam , that's close...

yes, I wasn't even planning to apply, coz i thought it was impossible. but my a frd persuaded me to do so....and one day..i received the fedex envelope with the acceptance letter!
Today I'm feeling much better abut the step, but scores are still low...

ok...I gave the exam on the first of april.
I'll write about it in the exam experiences section....not that I have a lot to write it was simply too difficult.
Good luck to you all! and study, coz this this requires very strong basics.
