I took step1 on 12/28 and waiting for the score. It is a tough time. :rolleyes oes anybody know that holiday season will delay the results or not. I did not do nbme but uw. I started with 50's 2 month before the exam and ended up with high 70's and low 80's 1 week before the exam, overall 67%. Did anybody get an idea how predictive uw is for step1.

Im also waiting on pins and needles. I took my exam on 12/24/07. Hope we get the scores this wednesday.

my exam was on 27th dec ! i hope we all score good! i will share my exp later. But i found the exam to be more difficult than UW or Qbank.

I got my score today. I graduated 13 years ago. Preparation time: 4.5 month, 8 effective hrs/day on average. Material: FA, Kaplan except pathology, Goljan lectures, notes and Rapid review. uw: 85% completed over last 2 mth, 50-82%, average:67%. usmle cd: 42%. Did not do NBME.
Mistakes I made:
1- Did not do enough questions including NBME--> Problem on time management on real Exam.
2- Using HY Behav. at first and then switch to Kaplan Behav.
3- Spending 2 weeks reading Rapid review before listening to Goljan's lectures

do u think kaplan dvds r essential?

Thanks maoudoody. With regard to Kaplan DVDs, they help but not essential. If you are an old graduate they are more useful. In retrospect Anatomy, biochem. and Behav. were useful. If you get time do the rest. I did not do physiology from Kaplan. I think I made a mistake in previous post. I did Physiology from BRS. Hope this help.
