Hi,
There are many posts here, but quite confusing.
I am an old IMG, and planning to take step II CK. Not decided when. But 3 month prep
Seniors please tell, how to start preparing from scratch...
Which books are good ? I have purchased enthusiastically a lot, e.g. blueprint series, Pretests, review books etc
I want to know what is time tested strategy ? which minimum boks or notes to read ?
Are Kap DVDs must ? Is FA good ? Is crush step II good ?
Need a good advice
Thanks

ok.. hi...
i am not a senior... but.. i can help i lil..
see.. if u can get the kaplan notes...
i dnt think the videos r much help...
study the notes very thoroughly...
then get hold of the FIRST AID... though the CK version is not as gr8 as step 1 one..
read it atleast twice...
then solve the kaplan Q book....
once again read the weak areas... thru FA or KAPLAN notes...
then u can take the UW... for a month or so... solve i... use it as a learnin tool.
solve it in a timed, mixed Q mode.. review all the answers, write down wat u feel is imp in the FA..
then re read all the weak areas from the NOTES...
once u feel ur done.. u can take the NBME to see ur score..
n by this time... u'll be exhausted... so take a break... n then give the exam!nod
i hope... i was of some helpgrin
