In case of chronic a. flutter shown on EKG and the patient is stable what do you do? Vagal maneuvers or Verapamil?

Atrial flutter chronic and stable----->t/t-->give beta blockers or CCB, and if unstable—--->DC cardioversion Vagal maneuvers helps in the DIAGNOSIS, by revealing flutter waves by slowing the ventricular rate..
