I decided to write it as party log because what's so fun if everything we do is work all the time right? I have started with micro but already feel behind in my neuro class...and I am scared as any second year would be...Below will be my complaint about why I want to quit med school so read it with caution. My life is already miserable as it is. My best friend and I in med school have a fight and we decided to cool of for indefinite time. My crush has a gf and even if I want to be with him I have no time because I have to study. life is lonely in med school. And when people ask me what's so good about being a doctor....I almost have a mental lock down thinking gee I really can't think of anything good, save life?? I dare say I don't find anything that drive me to go to work everyday. With the test coming up, I am scared and lonely and lost all at the same time. So why keep a party log, because I want to keep up the good thing in my life right now. Let's see what did I learn anything today...hmmm.....how about I learning to share my inner thoughts with complete group of strangers feeling idiotic but decided what the heck you can only live once, so let's share experience, med schoo, USMILE, a joke whatever. So if you have anything funny to say or if you wish to express some condolences. Go ahead. =)

hi tulip
hey it is normal when u r bogged down to feel why i am here in med school
but there r sacrifices when u want to achieve anything
even after u r a doc, u r going to have less time for family and friends
so make up ur mind that even if u spend less time on other things than studying, that time will be quality time
medicine is a life-time committment
learn to love it and u'll be happy to live with it

For neurology make sure you know the anatomy well
even medicine cases will be easier if u just know the basics
u need to learn to localise the lesion
try snell's neuroanat
and then eventually u can correlate pathology, pharmacology , physiology neuro also
