In a classroom of 25 students (15 males and 10 females), 5 males develop hepatitis A over a 2-week period. During the next 6 weeks, an additional 3 males and 2 females develop the infection. The attack rate of hepatitis A in this classroom is

    1)    25%

    2)    30%

    3)    35%

    4)    40%

    5)    45%

Is it 40 %

i think its 25%. coz 3+2=5 students got the disease, and only 20 were susceptible. ( excluding the 5 who initially had the disease)

from the beginning of the class to the moment we stopped & noticed. 10 people in total had disease out of 25. So calculation is 40%.
