Hi All,

I recently interviewed at a community program and I was told by the PD, in a response to my thank you email, that they really enjoyed my visit and that each person with whom I met liked me.

The PD used words like "We'd be delighted to have you.". The PD also mentioned that they discuss prematch offers in late December. The PD said that if they were not able to offer me a prematch, they plan to rank me very highly within the match. It is January and I have not heard from the program. Would it make sense for me to call the PD and ask if they have decided about pre-match offers? Any ideas? I don't want to look desperate.

Give the program a call and ask if they are giving out prematches? Can it hurt? No. Could you end up with a prematch? Yup. Is it worth a call?

No just do it, it is not a program in Arizona.

Posting the update.

I did not get the prematch, but I am not complaining its a prestigious program and they are not known for giving more than a couple prematches every year. The PD did tell me though that they do plan to rank me highly in the match. So lets hope for the best.
