to drrubin I really dont think you need to study any videos for the usmle step 2 cs but you do need to find someone who will practice with you as a patient and know first aid and usmle world

hey ram3 congrats on the success! just a few questions. Im mostly worried about the structure of the patient note, are there examples in FA or USMLE W? Did you use the computer or did you write them down? which one you think is easier? Its just that Im used to writing them one way but Im sure its not the USMLE way! Also, do you have to be specific like on the PE or can it be focused on the present illness...for example I guess an abdominal pain doesnt really need a neuro exam right?  oh well.... thanks and congrats again!

yep, you can start the application process without the CS results. but in order to be a considerable candidate during interview you must at least be ECFMG certified. The reporting of CS scores can be accessed in this webpage http://usmle.org/Examinations/step2/step2cs_repor... However as announced by ECFMG those planning on applying for the 2009 match must have their CS on or preferably before august 2008.

Dear Dr. EJCV I personally wrote the patient note and I would advise you to do so also just make sure its neat and legible also if for any reason you are feeling nervous use the time you are writting the note to relax

Fiest, congratulations for passing CS
second, thanks lottttt for giving a hand for ur mates. this is really a good spirit.
third, i hope u can help me with ur advice. i am planning for Match 2009 but indeed time is against me. i am palnning to take CK at june. hen i dont know what to take after, should i go for CS in the sates then be back to my homeland for Step 1 or should i wait to take step 1 then fly for CS putting in mind that CS places is running down?
in ur mind u think i can have good chances for 2009 match??
lastly, hope u good chances in step 3

am studyin n practising cases from FA
will be takin the UW soon...
i just have 10 more days to practice with my friend, theni'll be leaving for the US.
i am just tensed...
