Keep going  ........I havent watched micro dvds, altho i tried to but the first 2hrs just made me believe more strongly what my colleagues told me about....it is not useul......but i'll try to to listen viro and see if it helps?
Regarding my update: have started with gen patho from 2nd edition goljan this time...need to grab these things by the mid of next week! Genetics and immunopatho will take some of my time......
Lets continue working hard and praying to the Almighty for His Blessings! Thats the only BEST way FORWARD!

I have slowed downn a bit.......chp2 done doing water imbalance at the moment. I also intend to master the genetics portion by doin the ABC of clinical genetics and looking at some key points in kaplans genetics alongwith goljan. Lets see how it goes!

Hi dowjunk,hey true,micro videos are bore as well but so far i have not seen anything extra in video like doc123 saying  but it reinforcees for sure,lazy ppl like me 
u doing RR 2nd ed?blue boxes are cool.have not done immunopathology yet from there,how is it there?well might be good as goljan is for everything  hope u enjoy ur read

it depends on how you put things in your nuts.
For me seeing agars again and again reinforces microbiology otherwise simple plain rote memorization will probably well not my type even when he mentions Hamburger well thats what they will mention in exam instead of undercooked meat. God knows when they will mention unpasteurised milk. ADD HAMBURGER in your KLN.

i liked ur view on hamburger thing doc! will ponder on that...my head classifies things on their route of entry but its the subclassification with the ages and areas that messes everything up......but the end chapters of clinical correlation in KLN r outstanding.........I am playing inthere these days!
hey KG i have done my first read of immuno from goljan too.....its much neatly summarized....KLN immuno is a must ! But you know...... that acid base thing there in goljan, it is much more complex and hifi as compared to the acidbase of physio........so i recon that u must peek in there if u are yet to!
AD  , yeah man i take ur words.....u love micro n u luv pharma!!!.....its just that it makes u yawn, right? lol
To my update : my bro came in from europe today, brot a cool laptop for me........am usin vista for the first time!!! neways ....i am halfway thru ABC of clinical genetics....it helped me know atleast what FISH stands for, and what r mendelian disorders, lol! Moreover, acid base is not very reader friendly in goljan, so I had to listen to the lectrs again! now i feel strong as ever, alhamdolillah!
8th and 9th sept: gotta fight these gen pato things as much as i possibly can!!!

thx dr123..... you are not slow, considering u r working.....you are taking things along well, i am sure we all will make it to the top isA! u know I am done with my house job and am giving in all for step1, cant afford to use ifs and buts, like the past days of internship.....i am sure u'll be planning to take atleast a month off b4 ur final shot!
laptop, yeah thx, came back from the librry today to find myself playing fifa08 e my bro......had an hour of intense fun, pre-iftar!
My update: 7hrs today .........things going very normal.....i never believed this nutrition chp would be so tough.....i always thought of genetics that way! so some revision and crammin for tomorrow as well...........before i move onto 'the special patho'!

Hi dowjunk--first off,congrats on getting new laptop enjoying study on it more now,i hope
and buddy i have not gone thru acid-base or immuno from goljan yet but will do it now as u r 2nd one who saying this and i cant wait now to oprn dr goljan hehehe.BTW genetics good in kaplan but if want very minutae info,try something else but dont know what do tell me what is good for genetics,as its coming up soon next for me too.
oh yeah nutrition is very HY do it well.(im saying to myself too )

Hey martine!!!, thx for flying in here......ur dp shows how good u r with the kids......u feel like a to-be-neonatologist to me! 
and budddddddy KG, i will start calling u buddy from now on, as I have scent that u liked it, ................................................. yeah genetics is good in kaplan, but i am reeeeaaallly weak in this zone, so wont mind putting some extra!!! well i wont advice ABC to u, as its only for those who are nil in genetcs! but I have begun to feel good now, will fuse molecular into it so that I get the BIG picture!
UPDATE: 6hrs today , 1hr of fifa again........ neoplasia still to go, which I'll now fuse with hematology! so from tomorrow till friday....i need to finish the whole of hemato+neoplasia (>100pgs)from goljan and do the FA hem/neop system (20pgs) isA. To add fuel to the fire, I also need to to do the G lectures along with the word2word notes! its my weeekst system, so next3 days are all mine! will update then isA!

I am waiting for the azan and break my fast................so just wanted to update that I amstill a day short of finishing my weaker zone...................have crammed nearly 3/4th of it ....its the lymphoma things thats too volatile.........neoplasia to go tooooooooooooo 
7hrs is what I am getting...................
I'll have to make it 10 if i have any chance of finishing my patho and FA sytem portion before the end of this month....................i am wasting some amount of time on the net too....so will have to make sure i kill this addiction, wasting 90minutes a day on this!!!
SO I will update sometimes next week isA........with some good chaps in my pocket!!!

Are you going to redo Microbiology and Immunology from KLN or you will continue with your MRS from 2nd reading. Actually this comes to my mind as KLN Miro and Immuno excellent but RR 2nd edition so compact and fast to read.

doc123.........basically that was my secnd read of micro ....both times i had to do MRS(50%of topics) plus KLN...................now i think i am nearly done with the confusion, haveput alot of energy into it.........................KLN is more aligned and focussed for me, but its hard to grab! MRS has always been a gr8 book, but i only used it as a supplement........but if u r doing those lil charts of micro from MRS, i gues that's all it! I talk of other ppl's experiences as well.....since i am doing patho from goljan these days I am enjoying relating that micro stuff from KLN to the RR..............................and regarding the last few chaps of KLN, all experienced hands have said its absolutely high yield, in short itsthe highest yield of micro at one place!
my update ::::: I am doing PathoRR along e FA07, system wise....................so getting a terrific experience out of it......have been revising and using all the KLN books along........feels like the minds opening up well.............hemato, GI and general done.......the rest is still in line!
