I did 2 pages of inflamation RR, and listened goljan lecture. very slow... very bad... but better than nothing at all! I know it will go like it till eid... so I m mentally prepared...

that day, i read RBC from RR, but yesterday, i didnt do much, i still tried to sleep, to correct my nightime awakeness and daytime sleeping pattern, but in vain, so, these days, i will keep on trying.

Hi!Saima,How r u? read that u r having a tough time with goljan. why not try doing it with the typed out goljanaudio lectures.MS word day1 tru 5 ones. they r really helping me. i actually print them out nad the follow the audio lecture along with the typed out lecture. so it makes it a whole lot easier.

Goljan RR consumes a lot of the time and energy but it is worth it .I took almost a month for the first read but don't remember much of what I read.
And I am still doing the audio part by part.As mjabapana said print out the word to word notes and go over it while listening to audio.
I am using this idea and it is working out very well for me , try and see if it suits you.I have all the audio downloaded to my mp3 player.My mp3 player and the printout of word to word audio lecture notes travel with me in my car wherever I go.When I am waiting to pick up kids, at the gym or travelling for social events I use the time to listen to the audio.

Yes I trying to retain, focus.... I have those lecture notes, they r good... but still I am inclined to read from the basics... I am not reading from Robbins, but I wish I could.. the only problem is time, so m just tryin to focus on RR and goljan.
I know that I can do better once ramadhan is over inshaAllah.
As we are having so many get togethers, night vigils, hena party, eid party , iftar party... I am suppose to enjoy these ( and I do ) but I am constantly under stress for not studying.
Thanks to all of you, yesterday I just touched patho... and I am smiling again
By the way, my husband bought an ipod for me, he downloaded goljan in it... IT IS SO COOOOOOL!

Am definately planning to take my exam by end of Nov. Have to go out of town in DEC so that will be a break so am planning to give in Nov. come what may.

Hi Saima, Sorry for late reply, was is the weekend shell.Mjbapana is right ,you need to do Goljan RR,audio with word to word notes(someone has typed each and everyword of Goljan's audio).
