Ok, Kap and UW both agree that this is a medical emergency, and you must treat it or else osteomyelitis can develop.
However Kap says CLOSE within 6 hours.
UW says open fractures should NOT be closed primarily.
Could anyone please clarify this point?

uw is true but u need to reduce and close the wound as soon as possible
