1. A 2. I think it is E.......to compensate for respiratory acidosis H+ secretion will be increased and not K+

I think so too, 1-A due to metabolite accumulation i.e. Adenosine, 2-E cuz K+ sequestered to cells in exchng for H+ , H+ will be lost in Princ cell in collect duct in exng for Na (besides any diuretic aside from K-sparrings do increase K loss)

The answers are A& E A because after an episode of hypoxia the sphincters open up allowing hyperaemia known as reactive hyperaemia I'm not sure about C but in repiratory acidosis the usual renal compensation is excretion of H+ and since H+ is getting excreted the K+ is retained(by Aldosterone)....I guess its best to assume osmotic diuresis causes loss of electrolytes along with it just like the other diuretics.
