This week I called a program to ask about the possibility of a 2nd look visit. The PC said it was fine and to email her a date. Today I received an email from the PC stating that they first need verification that I pass a TB test. Is this new? I've never heard of such procedures before. I'm wondering if it's their way of telling me that they're not so interested. I guess I'm a bit paranoid right now...it's just that I like the program a lot. Has anyone else heard of anything similar to this?

They've established that you are going to rank them, so now they want to be sure they should rank you.

...so they tell me to get a TB test?...I thought maybe they did this to deter those who were not exactly ideal candidates, to make it more difficult for them. Again, I think I'm being a bit paranoid about this. Anyone else?

It's nothing to worry about, Bullrunner...it is mandatory in most of the hospitals that they should have every person's TB test result in record before they come in close contact with the patients, even if it's just observing...it's the usual process everywhere..nothing to panic about....
