How do we check for JVD?Please explain in details? and do we do it after ausculting for the carotid? all of this is preceed by pulling the gown down the shoulder?right?
In general is there a site or book that explains how to conduct the exam?something as a backup in case any ambiguity is encountered in FA?

i guess we are supposed to lift up the head side of bed upto 45 degree angle..and just palpate for jugular vein.(((.No need of scaling )
