Hi adrenalin, If it's your only iv, you definitely have to rank it anyway. If not, I would not put that as the highest one. There are a thousand ways of managing the residents after program dismantled. They may help u find another spot in affiliated institutions(Cabrini), may assist u in next match(Mount vernon), or even abandon u totally(a FM program in CA). Gambling is risky. GL.

I have no clue how such situations will be handled, but I'm sure if we get matched and the program perishes, the affiliated univ will take care of our future. Like what happened with Mercy hospital, Buffalo. They finished their residency in SUNY or sisters charity. The same situation will be there for us if we get matched and than if the program shuts down. If it happens before match...... no one will help us. Hey Adrenalin, If the program has fear of shutting down, it will rather prefer giving prematches than going for match... like what " resurrection west lake is doing". Why do you think the program will shut down?
