how do you interprete this score?

this is the reply i got in usmleforum...hope this trick work in real exam... wink

Calculate as %:
100% = 800
77 %= 800/100 x 77 =616
616 nbme 3-digit score=approximate step2 3 digit score of 241 to 243 (610-620).
