Dear friends, What to do if you do not trust your PD in telling your future plans and if you feel that he sees the things only from his point of view( i.e we are here to use you)? What to do if you are applying to PGY2 programs but you are 100% sure that he will not say a good word about you when the program calls(i.e unfair )? What to do if the PD smiles and makes other residents happy, and everybody is excited about him, but you know that all this is a pure "show"?

there are people like this - very non supportive especially when it comes to achieving something that they have not been able to achieve. SO Studyforstep3 - what did you decide to do? I would really like to know - I've recently ran into somewhat similar situation at a lab job - a PhD lab boss making your life miserable when he/she learned I want to do a residency. Studyforstep3 - what was your solution?
