I don't know why they think a physician assistant career is so much better than a physician's. For starters, they have half the salary, and almost as much liability and responsabiltiy. If things get worse for physicians, they will get worse for them, too. And they do much more paperwork, and are certainly looked down at, even by nurses, kind of "so, you couldn't be a doctor, could you?"
No offense, even I will consider being one if I don't get into residency, I think it's a nice career. But I think this article is a little tendentious...
