Hepatitis C (Choice A) is correct Sprint & Silver! Explanation: Hepatitis C virus causes chronic infection. Antigenemia is due to continuous release of viral antigen and the skin lesions are due to cryoglobulinemia. Antigen-antibody complexes are generated and become trapped in the small vessels of the skin, kidney, and other tissue, and this leads to type III hypersensitivity reactions (activation of complement and tissue damage).
