Getting any kind of response is unlikely, just imagine the amount of people aplying and the amount of thank you letters they got; so I guess it's a positive response, they are interested in you.
Be sure that they offer prematchs first and if u liked them, I would take the chance; after all u will not loose anything. If they don't, I would keep in touch with them.

after interview i got reply from pd written as we are very impressed with your interview and cv and we are certain that you will be a successful resident.Is this response is positive or generic? whether i should ask for prematch or not.
