Hi everyone...I knwo this is an old one..but I just thought I'd post my thought: this question is asking in what group has the "cardiovascular mortality rate increased in"...which is like saying..in what group is the mortality rate usually low such that the attack has caused the rate to increase the most. In men/disabled patients etc.. the rate is high already so the mortality rate caused by the attack isn't as significant as it is for the women who usually have a lower mortality rate..and thus show a greater increase! Kinda wordy..but i hoep it makes sense!

i don't trust usmleasy questions... they are either way too easy or way too hard.. giving a false correlation..... but these were still good questions (specially the first one for concept)

yep women more than men also as the men away fighting (so bigger pop of women in tel aviv) plus women more likely to die of sudden death than men. ie if woman and man both have heart attack, woman more likely to die. I thought hypnosis is good for chronic pain as it helps reduce psych component. if anxious/depressed, treat that with the appropriate treatment (not usually hypnosis)
