Im thinking of moving my match date from may 16th to july the 4th.This means my score will be reported from Augest 6th(reporting start date) to september 3rd(reporting closed date).Will this affect my chance in getting interviews???
When can we start applying for match 2009?augest or september??
Please respond as soon as possible as i have to make up my mind today?

I suppose you meant your CS date and not your match date???
you can start working on your application in july... applications start going out to programs september 1... provided that all three scores are reported by sept 3rd - you are in really good shape...
ECFMG will send you a certification letter with your last score reported (this letter can be used until your actual certification arrives via fed ex within two weeks)...

You'll be fine, almost all the CS scores are posted on the reporting start date, which is August 6th in your situation. You can start sending applications on September 1st.

yes most CS results are reported the first date. If you will also have done your step 1 and step 2 ck by then you will get your ECFMG Certificate 2 weeks after getting your CS results.
Your goal is to be ECFMG Certified at the time of your application. This is what programs prefer.

I plan to take step 1 in april, cs in june ck in october.

Yes off course! Many forum members have done that, just don't do it after october because IV season starts and you will get caught up with it and believe me... it is too tough to do an exam and IV's at the same time, good luck!
