Have you called the program to ask them if they are offering prematches for the year?

Use the telephone and ask straight out if they are offering prematches and if you can be considered for one.....

Dear bbb, i had an interview in November and am now going back for a second look. i'll be getting a chance to sit with the PD as well ..my question is, would inquiring about a pre-match (the program usually doesnt offer) make one look desperate or would it cement the fact that i am interested in the program and want to go there? also, from what i understand, a program can't tell an applicant where they will be ranking them or can they? thank you for all your help! doc
