well i have just 3 weeks..and nothing else. i tok my step 2 more than a year ago. i had made plans on preparing, earlier in the year but i never got down to doing it. In between my interviews was too crazy. Finally i have a 3 week interview free period. I HAVE to do this. My plan is to do the kaplan q bank in the initial 1 week. new years begins with the step cs cd and usmle world. I will have to somehow fit kaplan ethics, notes and crush the boards. the kaplan q bank is apparently straightforward, but i feel i learn more from questions rather than reading notes. Infact the latter seems imposiible..( im too out of the studying phase). God has always been kind to me. i hope He continues with his blessings.

alexaE and arleta, thanks a lot! I remember how i relied on the forum for support and motivation. today wasnt too bad..did about a 100 questions today. Have to pick up pace. I wish i had my step 2 notes and dvds on me...too bad they are over a thousand miles away. i guess i'll have to rely on the step 3 notes only. tomorow i'll try to do atleast 150. i'll need one super day where i do around 300. that way i'll be able to do the qbank in a week. good luck to me and the entire forum.

I will be applying for step 3 and was wondering which state will process the application quickly as I have to take the test by the last week of january. I have read on this forum that CT ia the quickest, as I have done one of my exams more than 7 yrs ago, I was told I am not eligble to apply thru CT. Can anyone please let me know what states are the best to apply to get quick application process. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks in advance.

dear vc i have heard ppl applying to connecticut usually. one has applied to west virginia. when applying there is a page where they list the different states and tell u the demands of each state. i suggest u chose the one with minimal demands. GOOD luck..im posting ur question on a different forum where hoefully it will elicit a better response.

ironic! just as i log in to complain about a lack of it, i see a compliment for enthusiasm. today was slow ..70 questions done reallyhalf heartedly. probably should go out for a walk tomorrow. Just studying in one place is painful. in fact sometimes i wish i hadnt reschedueled my interviews to get this break for the exam..they seem like fun! running from one place to another, meeting new ppl, checking out a new city, thanking god u r in one piece! well good luck to everyone.

Studying, it is nice to know you have interviews. I like the energy you exude. Which may not be the same as you feel. But when some one updates their journal it is very motivating. So thank you and keep up the good work.

aah thank you! i love it when people compliment me ;p today was again a low number of questions..however i changed my course. I think i was really bored and stressed out. So i read up on text and it actually felt good ( normally i am allergic to books)..and i decided im gonna delay my exam if need be, rather than be too-stressed-to -live! its amazing how easily one can forget things..especially when it comes to those adorable glomeruli! well i guess a few mnemonics will be needed. To everyone i wish loads of luck with the match and their exams. cya
